I'm working on a quilt! My friend and I decided instead of giving a Christmas gift to each other we would have a sewing day. So we each ordered fabric from the Riley Blake Alpine Wonderland line, found a pattern, cut it all out & started sewing together. So much fun!!!
I found the pattern in Better Homes & Garden's Quilts & More Winter 2010. I like our fabrics better than the ones pictured :)
It's always fun to lay it out and try and figure out where all the colors should go.
I have a jelly roll of Christmas fabrics that I want to quilt. But quilting intimidates me and I don't really like the race quilt. What would you suggest as something easy for a beginner quilter. (I've been sewing for 17 years so that part isn't the problem. ;))
ReplyDeleteThat is so fantastic!! I have yet to even try quilting but maybe I could get some great Christmas prints on clearance after the holidays and try to wrap something up by the end of next year. I can't wait to see the "finished" product.
